Berdasarkan pantauan VIVAnews.com, sejak Sabtu kemarin, 23 Juli 2011, ratusan mobil pelat merah memadati lokasi parkir tempat acara itu berlangsung di Sentul Internasional Convention Center (SICC). Mobil dengan pelat nomor dinas dari berbagai daerah itu ada juga yang diparkir di luar gedung.
Tak ayal, pemandangan itu pun menarik perhatian warga sekitar. "Seharusnya mobil dinas ini untuk kepentingan pekerjaan, bukan kepentingan partai politik," kata Ahmad, salah seorang warga Bogor.
Salah seorang peserta Rakornas, Irsyad, mengakui datang menggunakan mobil dinas. Ketua Fraksi Partai Demokrat Solo, Jawa Tengah, itu mengatakan dirinya merupakan salah satu pejabat negara, sehingga berhak mempergunakan fasilitas yang disediakan untuknya. "Jadi, saya mengikuti Rakornas ini menggunakan pelat merah," katanya.
Rakornas ini digelar di tengah berbagai tuduhan korupsi mendera sejumlah elit Partai Demokrat, terkhusus Ketua Umum Anas Urbaningrum. Dalam wawancara televisi, mantan Bendahara Umum Muhammad Nazaruddin yang kini buron, bahkan secara khusus menegaskan tentang adanya aliran "uang APBN" kepada elit partai yang sedang berkuasa itu.
