SMA 6 has not been present, the KPAI Mediation not started
VIVAnews - Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) masih menunggu kehadiran dari perwakilan SMA Negeri 6 Jakarta untuk menggelar mediasi terkait peristiwa penyerangan siswa sekolah elit itu kepada sejumlah wartawan yang sedang melakukan aksi protes beberapa waktu lalu.
Seperti disampaikan Komisioner KPAI, Asrorun Niam Saleh, perundingan dijadwalkan berlangsung pada pukul 10.00 WIB, tapi acara ini belum bisa dimulai karena perwakilan sekolah belum datang.
"Perwakilan dari wartawan sudah hadir, kami masih menunggu dari sekolah datang. Mereka baru menghubungi saya dan masih koordinasi bersama alumni," kata Niam, Kamis, 22 September 2011.
Dia menambahkan, pertemuan ini merupakan pertemuan lanjutan. Sebelumnya, KPAI telah melakukan pertemuan terpisah antara kedua pihak. "Masih memiliki persepsi kronologi yang saling kontra. Tapi semua pihak komitmen menyelesaikan secara tuntas kasus ini," katanya.
Mengenai hal ini, Naim mengatakan, KPAI akan menjamin proses pendidikan bagi siswa di SMA 6. "Pelakunya kan sedikit, jangan sampai merampas hak pendidikan bagi ribuan siswa yang lain," katanya.
Terlebih penting dalam pertemuan antara KPAI dan sekolah, telah disepakati untuk merumuskan bagaimana memutus rantai kekerasan yang di sekolah itu.
"Energi yang lebih pada siswa harus dikelola dengan baik dan digiring agar menjadi momentum untuk medeklarasikan sebagai sekolah antikekerasan," ujarnya.
Secara pribadi Niam sudah bertemu dengan Kapolres Jakarta Selatan, Imam Sugianto, agar kasus ini diproses tanpa ada tekanan dari pihak manapun. Sejauh ini KPAI diminta mendampingi 14 siswa yang terkait dengan kasus ini. Dari mereka juga ada korban yang sudah membuat laporan.
