New 0.012 per cent citizens of JAWA Underserved E-ID CARD

VIVAnews -service of the population and the civil registry (Dukcapil DKI Jakarta) has published a total of 900 of the electronic ID CARD (e-ID CARD) to five subdistricts in Jakarta. That means new 0.012 percent of the population, which is served out of a total of 7.4 million inhabitants of compulsory ID CARDS in the Jawa.

According to the Head Office of the ancient Dukcapil, the five wards that Hutapea has been serving the electronic ID CARD i.e., Menteng, Central Jakarta, Cikoko, South Jakarta, Tomang, West Jakarta, Mampangparapatan, South Jakarta and Rawabadak South, North Jakarta.

Of the five wards, the only Village which equipment KTP Menteng electronic approaching complete.  "Five wards has been doing calling its members gradually, although the equipment used was still minimal, i.e. one unit of two new units promised the Ministry of Internal Affairs," the ancient Hutapea said in Jakarta.

By seeing this condition, Purba said it will continue to coordinate with the Ministry of the Interior (Kemendagri) to ensure the completeness of the equipment. Based on the last meeting with Kemendagri, availability of new tools will be fulfilled on 19 August.

"Kemendagri promising all equipment in the village was already complete 267 on 19 August. We hope that promise could be fulfilled in order to target the completion of the e-ID CARDS by November 2011 can be reached, "he said.

Purba reveal, even though the application of the electronic ID CARD in Jakarta is slow, but from 197 counties and cities in Indonesia which implements the electronic ID CARD simultaneously, the first stage of the subdistricts of Jakarta were among the first.

Purba pursues the day there will be 10 subdistricts in Jakarta following the five wards to serve the creation of an electronic ID CARD. Unfortunately, Purba reluctantly mentioned the village anywhere.

If the application of the electronic ID CARD goes according to schedule, then at the end of 2012, the whole population data in Indonesia will be integrated. So expect there will be no longer a double for all the data ID residents will be integrated in the system. (ren)
