Aceh was struck by a Magnitude 6.7 SR.
VIVAnews – a magnitude 6.7 on the Richter scale shook the region of Aceh. The earthquake did not cause tsunamis.
Based on information from the Agency of meteorology Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG), the earthquake occurred at 00.55 WIT, September 6, 2011. The coordinates of the earthquake was at 2.81 N-97.85 E
The epicenter was 55 miles northeast of New, powerful – Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD), 75 km southeast of Kutacane-NAD, 78 miles southwest of Kabanjahe-North Sumatra, 90 miles southeast of Tapaktuan-NAD, and 1411 miles northwest of Jakarta-Indonesia.
Until now there has been no information on the earthquake damage arising.
