Dalam pertemuan tersebut disepakati pihak Apindo bersedia mencabut gugatan di PTUN paling lambat dalam waktu 1 minggu dan SK Gubernur Banten yang menyangkut Upah Minimum Kota (UMK) tetap berlaku.
Muhaimin juga berencana mengumpulkan kepala daerah terkait ancaman demo buruh pada Kamis, 9 Februari 2012 yang akan diselenggarakan oleh serikat pekerja di Tangerang.
Muhaimin menjelaskan dalam rapat tersebut nantinya semua aspek akan dibahas. Ia meminta dalam penetapan upah agar disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan daerah. Pada Jumat nanti, pemerintah akan melakukan rapat koordinasi dengan para Gubernur se-Indonesia dan membahas tumpang tindih lahan dan masalah perburuhan.
Sebelumnya untuk mengantisipasi demo buruh itu, Kepolisian Daerah Metro Jaya dan Komando Daerah Militer (Kodam) Jaya melakukan gelar pasukan mengantisipasi demo buruh yang akan berlangsung di wilayah Jakarta dan sekitarnya.
